Prolines naval architecture and marine surveyors employs Ireland’s only fully accredited Royal Institute of Naval Architecture engineers. With over 15 years of experience dealing with complex design issues Prolines has the know how and expertise to find the right design solutions for your maritime needs.

Using state of the art software and 3d modelling tools such as the Wolfson Unit Stability Software, modern CAD design tools and a Leica total work station Prolines can developed accurate and real life models and calculations.

Prolines have produced 100’s of stability book and structural reports for all types of commercial vessels, submitting this work to all the major classification societies and many of the larger flag states in Europe.


Key Projects

2015 Naval Architect. Over 100 stability books produced and approved by four Flag stated for a variety of MV’s and MFV’s from 7 to 75 meters.
2015 Naval Architect. Over 50 redesigns of existence MV’s and MFV’s approved by four Flag stated for a verity of MV’s and MFV’s from 10 to 55 meters.
2011 Naval Architect and Superintendent Surveyor. Per-purchase surveys, conversion refit of a 20 meter oyster dredger to a mussel dredger.
2007/8 Naval Architect and Superintendent Surveyor. Naval architect and superintending surveyor on the refit of the LE Creidne, the Irish navy sail-training vessel.
2005 Naval Architect and Superintendent Surveyor. Designed and supervision of the refit on the MFV Laura Ann, Podmos Yard, Holland.
